What if the person being served refuses to accept service?

This has become important in the time of Covid. People have a justified fear of strangers at their door and may refuse to take papers from our hands. Once the recipient has been identified, we explain our reason for being there and simply leave the documents at their feet. We are careful to document this in our affidavit and may take a picture as further proof.
